

Jess Chan is a designer maker specialising in Printed Textiles and Natural dyes, with colour playing an important role within the design process. Her designs are inspired by botanical nature and geometry, intertwining texture through mark making.
Jess’ research into Natural dyes has led to an Artist Residency in Oaxaca, Mexico and now teaches workshops focusing on natural dyes and indigo dyeing.
Jess also provides a Print and Dye consultancy service within the Fashion and Costume Industry and currently works at Loughborough University.
